About Women's Ministry
Women's Ministry is an opportunity for the local church to touch the lives of women by the power of Jesus Christ through outreach, ministry and discipleship. This ministry builds an environment for women to mentor women, to learn and practice biblical love, and to feel the touch of Christ in a special way.
Our Mission Statement
To touch the lives of women and girls by the transforming power of Jesus Christ, discipling them to follow His example and training them to minister to others.
Ministry Groups
Ministry groups are a means of involving women to minister to every woman according to her need. It is our goal to involve every woman in some aspect of ministry whether in choir, Sunday School, church kitchen, nursery, Missionettes, youth group or outreach ministries. Developing ministry groups offers opportunities for every woman to find her place of service and actively touch the world for Jesus Christ!
Ladies Bible Study This ministry focuses on the study of God's word. We encourage all women to come and learn the Bible with us and fellowship. This is a wonderful time in the Lord. Held every Monday night at 7:00 at the church. Contact Jo Jindra with any questions.
Joy Fellowships This ministry is intended to be an outreach not only to the women of our church, but also beyond the walls of the church. Its purpose is to bring women together in worship, fellowship and evangelism. Yearly events include our Women's Pampering Day, Mother/Daughter Outing, Fall Fellowship and Christmas Cookie Exchange. Shared Visions Open to all ladies, this ministry gives women an opportunity to come together to learn, create or share. Classes are held approximately four times a year, and involve making crafts, food and art. Contact Sabrena Howard with any questions.
Circle of Friends This group brings women together periodically throughout the year doing different activities at the suggestion of other women. Examples would be a game night, shopping, a progressive dinner or whatever fun activities provide time for fellowship and getting to know each other.
Comfort Group This ministry is geared towards comforting ones in need, specifically for any one who has lost a loved one. This group is open to men and women. They meet as a group or one on one and are also available on an as needed basis. Contact Rose Albietz with any questions.
Tapestry "Women Woven By Design" This is a quarterly Women's Ministry publication. Here you will find many uplifting acticles, updates on WM events, recipes, humor and testimonies from the women of our church, along with other informative material. Contact Stacy Farrenholz with any questions.
