From a humble home prayer meeting, in 1923, a vision emerged, to reach a community with the gospel message. That same year, a nucleus of dedicated people was formed. Their efforts created a budding congregation, which today, impacts the whole of
The little congregation of 1923 began meeting together in rented facilities until they were able to purchase a meeting house with facilities for the pastor and his family. In 1933 The little church became acquainted with the Assemblies of God and adopted the name of Bethel Assembly of God.
Through the years, the church has experienced consistent growth and development and has become a vigorous, thriving community offering powerful worship, lively preaching, a friendly atmosphere and vibrant family oriented programs as well as strong neighborhood outreach.
Even though the church is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, it is made up of families from a diversity of religious backgrounds.
